Goals
Money set aside for a purpose, such as an emergency fund, a holiday or a yearly bill, held in one or more accounts, and loans paid off by instalments. Give a savings goal a target and the budget gets a monthly line to save towards it; the Emergency goal's target is worked out from your essential spending. A loan starts at what's owed and its instalments pay it up to nothing; each is spending in its own category. An arisan is paid round by round the same way, in its own category, and its payout comes on your turn as a refund there. Spending paid from a goal never uses the budget.
